A platform for storing and organising information and documentation. General information and documentation for BookStack can be found at https://www.bookstackapp.com/.

Project Definition

BookStack is an opinionated wiki system that provides a pleasant and simple out of the box experience. New users to an instance should find the experience intuitive and only basic word-processing skills should be required to get involved in creating content on BookStack. The platform should provide advanced power features to those that desire it but they should not interfere with the core simple user experience.

BookStack is not designed as an extensible platform to be used for purposes that differ to the statement above.

--- QPKG Integration ----

to be done once qpkg installed...

1 ) Edit with your editor (winSCP for example) /opt/BookStack73/www/.env
setup your DB information by default set to bookstack (db name), root and pass admin (to be modified)
2 ) Once you edited the file, create the DB inside phpmyadmin on your NAS

3 ) Now log on SSH to Migrate DB with this command

cd /opt/BookStack73/www
/opt/Apache73/bin/php artisan migrate (this will create table and populate DB)

4 ) Done! You can now login using the default admin details admin@admin.com with a password of password. You should change these details immediately after logging in for the first time.
